Fiesta Crafts’ 5 A Day Chart short-listed in a host of awards

Fiesta Crafts is flying the flag for the government’s 5 A Day Campaign with its gold award winning 5 A Day Chart being short-listed for yet more awards.

In 2006 the 5 A Day Chart was awarded a gold in the prestigious Practical Pre-School Awards for its unique concept in encouraging children to eat more healthily. But 2007 is promising to be just as successful with the product being short-listed in two further award programmes.

May the 10th 2007 sees the finals of the Re:Fresh Awards where the Five A Day Reward Chart and Fiesta Crafts has been named as finalists. This award scheme recognises organisations, companies or individuals that have worked hard to support the government's 5 A Day healthy eating initiative throughout the year. This is certainly the case with Fiesta Crafts’ product which has been seen in many a magazine and brochure throughout the year.

Later in May however, Fiesta Crafts will be attending another award ceremony when they are up for a further accolade, this time from their toy industry peers - the BTHA - at the annual Max It! Awards, where they are short-listed for best marketing campaign.

Rob Trup, Fiesta Crafts’ Marketing Manager said: “To reach the finals of these awards is a fabulous endorsement of our commitment to the 5 A Day Reward Chart and to producing innovative products that are so much more than just toys. Parents have found that using an attractive game can positively change children’s attitudes toward eating fruit and vegetables and has made a real difference to their lives!”

But the success does not stop for the company with the 5 A Day Chart as Fiesta Crafts was also recognised in the recent DTi’s Passport to Export Awards in which they were a Finalist in the Exceptional Manufacturer category. Once again this is testament to their commitment to design and quality across their whole portfolio.
